{ Thanksgiving 2014 }

We had a wonderful with lots of the extended family at Karen and Ronald's house this year.  Here are some of the family pictures mom took.

Carolyn's family.  Uncle Max was even feeling well enough to join us!
 Pat's family
 Our Family.  Cam was the only kid from our family there this year.
 Karen's family
 Sisters
Group pics.
 The crazy pic!
 Claire looking precious in her turkey outfit!
Kaydee and Luke taking a break with Cameron, Ethan and Hanna.
Luke doesn't look to sure about Cam!
 Mom snapped a picture of me with Lee before we headed home.  Thankful for this guy!
What a great Thanksgiving!  We missed the rest of the family who couldn't be there, but really enjoyed those we don't see very often.  Thankful for family!

We had Thanksgiving with Lee's family and all the kids last Sunday.  We had a great time, but didn't take one picture!  Oops!  I'm spoiled because when my side of the family is together mom takes the pictures and I just get to steal them.  :)

{ Pre-Thanksgiving with the Cousins }

Amy and her kids, along with Pat and Dave, came up to Tupelo early so we could spend a couple of days together.  Our kids will be gone for Thanksgiving, so we tried to extend the holiday by getting some visiting in early.  The kids played their little hearts out.   It was fantastic!

They played outside.

They played games.
They went for golf cart rides.

Here's Claire and Cameron
After we finished dinner one night, Papa D built a fire so we could make S'more's.  YUM!

It was cold outside, so we didn't stay out too long.
 Ben and Amy taught Anna Grace how to play Solitaire, her new addiction!  :)
 A few more hugs and it was time to go home.

What a fantastic visit.  Love how these sweet kids just pick up where they left off.  We are loving having Amy and the kids just a few hours away, even if it's just for a year!

{ Decorating the Tree }

The kids are always so excited to decorate the tree and this year was no different.  Anna Grace decided to skip it this year and hang out with friends (which sounds like way more fun for a 14 year old!) but the three younger ones had a ball!

I'm so happy it's done! I love having the tree up and enjoying it all month long.

Here's Harrison checking it out one morning before school.  Love it!

{ Thanksgiving Feast and the Ugly Turkey }

The third grade classes put together a Thanksgiving feast and program yesterday.  Harrison's class did "The Ugly Turkey" and all the kids had a small speaking part.  He's not a huge fan of being on stage, but did a great job with his little part!

 Harrison is Narrator #2.
Vara, Kaylie, Dayton, Talan, Harrison and Phaness were all narrators.  Jace, Faith, Emilee, Mo and Drew were some of the turkeys.  I sat so close that I wasn't able to get a group shot of the whole class.
 I helped some of the other room moms serve at the feast.  We had TONS of food and it was all delicious!  I ordered chicken and dressing from Endville Bakery and it was really good!

 Harrison with his buddies Connor and Mohammed
Me and my favorite little turkey!
 Two of his biggest fans.
They got a big kick out of the show and he loved having Granna and Papa D there!

One more day and then we have a whole week off for Thanksgiving.  Thankful for that for sure!

{ Happy Birthday, Knoxie! }

Knox turned 3 on the 17th, so the girls put together a little party for him.

We all signed his birthday hat, which he would NOT wear.  :)

 They decorated...

Here's the sweet Birthday Boy!
He's enjoying a bowl of treats...I think it was rotisserie chicken and almonds.  Almonds are his absolute favorite!

I think he had a fun 3rd (or 21st!) birthday.

Today is also Ben's birthday, but he is much older!  Ha!  Happy 38th to Ben!
