{ Easter Eggs }

The kids still love dying eggs every Easter.  I hope this is a tradition they'll always enjoy.  I  boil LOTS of eggs!

Here they are getting started.
 Sarah has an interesting way of doing it...
and ended up with hands that looked like this!!
 Emma Taylor is waiting patiently.
 And Anna Grace is obviously tickled about something!

 Here are some of their favorite eggs!
We had some monogram stickers this year, so personalized some of them.

Harrison wanted his picture with the famous brown egg, just like Papa D used to make.  You can't really tell how brown it is in this picture, but it's not pretty!  Papa D would be so proud.
 Here's my egg!
My favorite little egg dyers!

Aren't they pretty?  Harrison tried to make the brown one look better by adding green glitter. It didn't help.  Ha!  We had a great time working on these eggs together.  So much fun!

{ Weekend in Birmingham }

We'd planned to go to Birmingham for weeks so we could see Hanna in her ice skating competition.  Poor thing got sick (and her brothers, too) and wasn't able to compete.  We missed Amy and the kids terribly, but we headed on to Birmingham anyway and met the rest of the family for some fun.

We shopped, ate at some delicious places and stayed in what the girls called their "castle!"

We had dinner on Saturday night at Brio.  It was delicious, as always!

Luke loved Anna Grace and she was pretty crazy about him too.

After dinner we headed out for a Target run then back to the hotel.  Sarah and Emma Taylor swam for awhile.

 And hit the hot tub, too.

The girls had worked up an appetite, so we ordered some room service.  Cheesecake and a brownie sundae.  I had a taste.  Good stuff!

 The next morning, the little girls decided to head back to the pool.  Luke was swimming too!

Loving on Luke!

The Ross Bridge Resort is pretty swanky and we enjoyed every minute.  Porsche was having some sort of meeting there, so there was a pretty car parked out front.  Anna Grace decided she wouldn't mind having this as her first car next year.  :)

I'm sure the little girls wouldn't mind being dropped off at school in it either.

 A few more pictures of my princesses in front of their castle.

 We finished up with lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, which never disappoints.

It's safe to say this girl was tired!  We were on the go all weekend.

We made one last stop at another Target then headed home to see the boys.  We missed them, but we sure enjoyed a fun girls weekend in Birmingham!

{ Valentine's Day }

Lee was out of town, at the Turkey Convention in Nashville, so the kids and I partied with the rest of the family all day.

The girls and I  started with lunch and shopping with Memaw, Candace and Cora Beth.  Cora Beth is such fun these days!

We stopped by Kathryn's new boutique in Tupelo and then headed over to the mall.  The girls all picked out some new outfits from Memaw for Valentine's Day.

We finished up with the mall, went home and packed an overnight bag for Harrison (so he could spend the night with Cameron) and then headed to Granna and Papa D's for dinner.  We ordered pizza and had some fun Valentine's Day snacks.  We also made out own sundaes, my favorite part!

Yum!

We had a great Valentine's Day.  Hope yours was full of love too!

{ Watch Out! }

The girls got into the truck with Lee on Saturday morning and Anna Grace noticed a zombie shooting target in the back.  For some reason she loves zombies. Anyway, after seeing the target she decided she wanted to practice shooting.  Sarah thought it sounded like fun too, so while she was at basketball practice he and Anna Grace got the supplies together and off they went.

He wasn't sure what they'd think about it, but they both loved it!

Here's Anna Grace getting started.

Here's Sarah.
 The girls took care of the bad guy, that's for sure!

While they were in Fulton target shooting, Lee also let Anna Grace practice driving just a little (and Sarah cried the whole time! Ha!).  Lee said she did a good job.  She gets her permit in May, so she will be behind the wheel all the time soon.  Yikes!

The girls loved having some fun alone time with their daddy!

{ Celebrating 9 - Mexican Style! }

Harrison chose to have his birthday lunch at Don Julio this year.  In addition to the six of us, Granna, Papa D, Memaw, Ben, Cameron, Candace and Cora Beth joined us.

 A bunch of Harrison boys!

Harrison really wanted his lunch at the mexican restaurant because after the waiters sing to you they smash a pie in your face.

 He didn't want the pie in his face though.  He wanted the pie in Sarah and Emma Taylor's faces!  They were good sports and loved it!

 The boys loved wearing the straw hat.

 Sweet Cora Beth!
 Pics with Papa D.

I hope Harrison enjoyed his birthday lunch as much as we did.  Nine was a birthday well celebrated!
