Anna Grace had her braces taken off yesterday and was pretty excited about it! Don't her teeth look great?!  We're so proud!

She will be wearing a retainer for awhile, but it's clear and hardly noticeable - so different from the retainer I had to wear many, many moons ago!

Our family celebrated the occasion with dinner at Outback tonight. Memaw, Candace and Granna joined us, so it was an extra special treat for Anna Grace!

The kids got all dressed up for Kathryn and Lee's wedding on Saturday, so we snapped a quick picture before we headed out the door.


The kids had a big time at the reception and ate lots of cake and snacks.  Congrats to Kathryn and Lee!

Anna Grace and Sarah's artwork was featured at the Gum Tree Art Museum and we went for the reception tonight.

Here's Sarah with her turtle clay sculpture.  It's the green turtle closest to her.  So cute!

Anna Grace had some pottery on display too, which was really neat.

brave boy

Harrison had to have a cyst removed from his eye yesterday morning.  We took him to the surgery center, got him all dressed in his hospital down and the nurses wheeled him away to surgery.  He didn't whine, fuss or cry.  He was such a brave boy!

He came out of the anesthesia pretty easily and couldn't wait to get home for a few bowls of cereal!

I thought we'd have a relaxing day at home, but the anesthesia had Harrison bouncing off the walls.  He played and talked non-stop all day!  So glad the surgery is over and that my boy is recovering nicely!
