painting pumpkins

We headed to the Farmer's Market after school to pick out some pumpkins and gourds...

 

heavy!

then we headed home, washed our pumpkins and started to paint!

We usually carve our pumpkins, so this was a fun change for the kids.  It's equally as messy as carving the pumpkins, but a different kind of messy!  

 They were really into this project!
