Me and my girl before the show!
Granna and Emma Taylor
Emma Taylor and Lexie
Mom took these pictures at the matinee. I got some cute video, but can't figure out how to add it to the blog. It's not cooperating! :)
The musical followed music throughout the decades, but between each song, the kids had to tell a little trivia about the decade. Emma Taylor let everyone know that the average income in the 30s was $1970 and the average cost of a new car was $640. She also said that some of the biggest stars in the 1930s were Clark Gable, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Joan Crawford. Apparently wearing sunglasses became fashionable in the 30s as well. She's wearing hers!
Singing and dancing to Hounddog!
There was plenty of good music in the show.
They tossed off their shirts during Footloose!
We went home and rested for a bit before the next show at 6:30pm. Memaw the Sarah came to watch this one.
Here's Sarah supporting her sister!
