Famous Amos Cheese Ball

My friend, Beth, made this yummy cheese ball and brought it work last week. It's her dad's recipe....easy and really good!

Famous Amos Cheese Ball
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
12 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
Chili powder, as much as you like!

Mix the first three ingredients together well and form into a ball. Coat with chili powder. This is really good served with Triscuits!

Lee and I had dinner with some friends last night, so I decided to try the new recipe myself. It was a hit....yum!

Lunch with my Favorite 1st Graders

Granna and I met Emma Taylor and Sarah for lunch yesterday and had such a fun time. We visited with the girls over lunch and since Granna hadn't seen their school yet, they gave her a tour. Of course, Granna was ready with her camera in hand! Thanks for all the cute pictures, Mom!

Harrison's First Day of Pre K

Harrison was excited about his first day of Pre K3 today. He picked out his favorite outfit to wear...the kid LOVES his camo shorts! He's been going to the "Blue House" for daycare all summer, but they started their actual fall curriculum today. Harrison is in the Terrific Teddy Bears class and has Ms. Teresa (Ms. Aresa is what he calls her!) for his teacher. She's a sweetheart, so I think he's going to have a great year!

First Day of 1st Grade

Emma Taylor started school last Thursday. It's so hard to believe she's a 1st grader already! Here are a few pics I took on the first day of school. It was pretty humid outside and I ended up with condensation on my lens, so the pics aren't very good.

Saltillo Primary School

This was also her first year at Saltillo Primary School. Luckily she knew two other little girls in her class - one from preschool and one from dance class - so that helped her make the transition without any problems. Her teacher this year is Sandy Smith and she seems really sweet. Emma Taylor's loving school so far and we're looking forward to a great year!
