{ Happy Birthday to Kaydee and Morgan! }

Kaydee and Morgan both have birthdays in the first half of February, so Karen planned a little trip to get together and celebrate with them.  Morgan is in PT school down in Mobile, so it works out well for us to meet half way down there.  Plus, Amy lives in Montgomery at the moment, so we extended the trip by a day and were able to spend a little extra time with her and see the kids.

Emma Taylor's been asking for some "only child" time for quite awhile, so I decided this weekend would be a good weekend for it.  She gets bored after too much time with just me, so it worked out nicely that Hanna could be Amy's only child for the weekend too!  The girls had lots of fun together.  It was so warm they even swam a bit and played tennis.  In February!  The weather was glorious.

 While the girls played, we sat by the pool and visited.
 Here we are headed to birthday dinner for Kaydee and Morgan!

 The girls loved playing with Luke the next morning while we all got dressed and ready.

The hotel had a great little restaurant, so we enjoyed a huge breakfast before we headed out.

It was a super quick trip and we didn't do much, just enjoyed being together (and Target!).

{ Celebrating 9 - Mexican Style! }

Harrison chose to have his birthday lunch at Don Julio this year.  In addition to the six of us, Granna, Papa D, Memaw, Ben, Cameron, Candace and Cora Beth joined us.

 A bunch of Harrison boys!

Harrison really wanted his lunch at the mexican restaurant because after the waiters sing to you they smash a pie in your face.

 He didn't want the pie in his face though.  He wanted the pie in Sarah and Emma Taylor's faces!  They were good sports and loved it!

 The boys loved wearing the straw hat.

 Sweet Cora Beth!
 Pics with Papa D.

I hope Harrison enjoyed his birthday lunch as much as we did.  Nine was a birthday well celebrated!

{ The Birthday Boy is 9! }

It's official, Harrison is 9 years old!

Doesn't seem possible that the "baby" is already 9, but he is and he's pretty happy about it!

We have a birthday lunch with the family planned a little later, so we'll do a little celebrating today!

He wants to have a football party with his friends when the weather warms up.  He's been dying to have the football party since last year, so we will make that happen in the spring.  Papa D told me that he had Cameron "try out" the last time they were playing together so he'd know what position Cameron should play at the party.  He's pretty serious about it.  Ha!

Happy Birthday, Harrison!  I hope 9 is the best year yet.  We love you tons!

{ 12th Birthday Dinner }

Sarah and Anna Grace recovered from the flu quickly, thank goodness!  Since they were all better, we were able to celebrate Sarah's birthday last night.  She chose Chili's for her birthday dinner again this year.  Memaw, Granna and Papa D celebrated with us too.

Here she is opening her cards.  She requested money this year.  She's saving for a new MacBook Air and after tonight, has enough money to buy it!
 We ordered a couple of desserts to share.  Yum!
We loved celebrating 12 years with our girl!

{ Happy Birthday, Knoxie! }

Knox turned 3 on the 17th, so the girls put together a little party for him.

We all signed his birthday hat, which he would NOT wear.  :)

 They decorated...

Here's the sweet Birthday Boy!
He's enjoying a bowl of treats...I think it was rotisserie chicken and almonds.  Almonds are his absolute favorite!

I think he had a fun 3rd (or 21st!) birthday.

Today is also Ben's birthday, but he is much older!  Ha!  Happy 38th to Ben!

{ Hot Diggety Dog, Luke is ONE! }

We headed over to Florence this morning for Luke's 1st birthday party.  He was precious and it was a lot of fun to see everyone.  Amy's family just moved back to Montgomery a few days ago, so they were able to make it too!

 We were finally able to meet Claire!  Such a precious baby girl!
These two were thrilled to see each other again!
 Luke and Claire were checking each other out.  Darling babies!

 Here's the birthday boy all ready for pictures!

This is the best picture I could get of Luke with Kaydee and Justin.  The lighting in the dining room just didn't cooperate!
I wish I'd taken more pictures of everyone, but I was too busy visiting.  We all had such a fun time! Kaydee and Karen did a fabulous job with Luke's sweet Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party!

{ Emma Taylor's Pedi Party }

This little chick-a-dee turned 11 this morning!  She's made the last 11 years so very much fun!

She was excited to start partying with her friends!  We planned a pedicure party at the nail salon in Saltillo.  Emma Taylor, Sarah, Lexie and Mia had a great time together.  Here they are selecting their polish.

 Getting the massage chair going.
Now she's all relaxed and ready to enjoy her pedicure!

When we finished up at the nail salon, we headed back to our house for birthday refreshments.  Emma Taylor didn't want birthday cake (she's not fond of the frosting) so she asked me to make the Heath Bar dessert, but in small serving bowls instead of a big trifle bowl.  The girls all seemed to love it!  She requested mint chocolate chip ice cream from Baskin Robbins too.

 We all sang and then she made her wish and blew out the candles.

 Anna Grace joined the girls for dessert, but wanted to stay hidden behind the streamers.  :)

 She even let the boys sneak in for a picture, but they had to eat their dessert in the kitchen.  Ha!

 Birthday girl opening her presents.

I loved this small, laid-back party and she did too!

And here's the "Transformation Tuesday" picture that I posted on Instagram for her birthday.  10 years makes a huge difference!
Love you so much, Emma Taylor!  I hope 11 is fantastic!
