{ Harrison's yard sale }

Harrison has seen me getting ready for a yard sale over the past few weeks and decided he'd have one of his own on Sunday.  He packed up some things he wanted to get rid of and headed down to the curb to see what he could sell.

He sat outside for awhile, without any customers, until I finally went outside.  I said, "Little boy, are you having a yard sale,"  He said, "Yeah, keep acting like I'm a stranger!" ha!  I told him I had a little boy who would love the football he had for sale.  He told me it was $5, so he made a quick 5 bucks.  He stayed outside until time for dinner.  :)

He had some merchandise and his money bag all ready to go....without any help!  Little entrepreneur!  :)

He was pretty happy about his $5....and he got to keep his football!  :o)

{ Birthday Dinner }

Anna Grace's birthday is next week, so we decided to start the celebration this weekend.  She picked Outback for dinner and we celebrated with cupcakes and presents.

{ ears pierced }

Emma Taylor and I had some girl time this morning and headed to the mall to get her ears pierced!  She's been dying to have her ears pierced for ages and I'd originally told her she'd have to be 10 years old.  I finally decided she was responsible enough and allowed her to get it done just in time to have "real earrings" in place by her 9th birthday!

She was a little nervous, but SO excited!

 Very last picture without pierced ears!  She's hugging the Claire's bear for support.
Very first picture WITH pierced ears!  She was a little nervous (heart was racing like crazy!), but once it was complete she didn't think there was anything to be worried about.  She did great!

Here's Emma Taylor with Katherine, who did the piercing.  She did a great job and was super sweet!

His very first yearbook!
Did I mention she loves Chaco's?  :o]
 and she loves Knox!

Sarah hasn't been still enough for me to get a picture lately!

{ Coach Pitch )

Harrison started his first season of baseball this spring and is having a really good time!  His team is the Rangers.  Doesn't he look adorable in his uniform!

 Me and my favorite Ranger!
 action shots

 The batting helmet is almost as big as he is!  :)
We about froze to death at his first game, but Harrison didn't seem cold at all.  He hit the ball well and had a super time!

{ Little Mermaid }

Emma Taylor tried out for her first theatrical production this spring, The Little Mermaid.  She loved every minute of it!

 Backstage silliness with Carlin and Brenna
 Emma Taylor was a minstrel and helped introduce each of the acts.
 She was also a shark while dancing and singing with the sea chorus.
Her favorite part was the henchfish.  The song they sand was "it's good to be bad!" So funny!
 Maddie and Lexie came out to show their support for our little actress.  Sweet girls!
The Little Mermaid was a super experience and lots of fun for all of us to watch!  :)

{ sharks }

Emma Taylor did her very first research project on sharks.  She had to research a topic, write a paper and to decorate a poster to illiustrate her topic.

Good job, big girl!

{ Easter 2012 }

We only had the kids for a small bit of the day this Easter, but we worked in as much fun as we could.  The kids all got Easter buckets filled with candy and other treats.  Harrison got a new helicopter and the girls all got Chaco's.  They, especially Anna Grace, were thrilled!

Memaw stopped by on her way home from Aunt Fay's, so we had an egg hunt.  Notice Emma Taylor decided to use her new shoe box to hunt eggs....silly girl!
Before the kids came home, Lee and I met the rest of the family in Fulton for Easter lunch at Aun Fay's house.  It was delicious, as usual!
