Disney - day 7

Today was our last day at Disney.  We finished up with lunch and a few more attractions at EPCOT.

A few more pictures of the Disney shrubs!

We had the best time ever on our trip to Disney!  We loved every second of it, but by the last day everyone was tired, so we were all happy to head back home!

Disney - day 6

We spent the day fitting in all of the rides and attractions that we hadn't been able to see yet, so we did a little park hopping.  We started at Hollywood Studios, where Lee picked up Fastpasses for the Toy Story Mania ride.  The line ride was always SUPER long, so the only way too see it was to get a Fastpass!  After that, we headed to Magic Kingdom for the last time.

First stop....Toontown!
We had to ride the Barnstormer again!
Then we waited in line for almost 2 hours to meet the fairies...the longest we waited for anything the whole week!  :)

The girls with Fawn
 Tinkerbell
and Vidia...she told them how to pose!
The girls were super excited to meet the fairies and get their autographs...Harrison, not so much!

Next we hopped on the Buzz Lightyear ride....fun!

We did a little shopping and caught a bit of the Christmas parade!
Then we waved goodbye to the Magic Kingdom...kinda sad!
Then we headed back to Hollywood Studios to ride Toy Story Mania, which was awesome!

Then we saw the Osbourne Dancing Lights.
The lights on these buildings were set to music and they were spectacular!
We loved the music, the lights and dancing in the streets!

After that, we headed back to the resort to have the caricatures done.

 Another fun day at Disney!

Disney - day 5

We started our day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  I was here back in the early 90s when it was still called MGM Studios.  It's grown alot and is WAY more fun this time around!
silly poses!
We stopped to see the 3-D Muppet show.  So cute!
Then stopped by Luigi's garage to have our pictures taken with Lightening McQueen and Mater.
Fantasmic shrubs!
We had lunch at Sci-Fi Diner, which was SO much fun!  We were able to watch movies and cartoons while we dined in a car.  The food was really good too!

We rode Rock 'n' Roller Coaster this afternoon.  The kids celebrated the fun with a little air guitar!  Woohoo!
Finally, it was time to meet Amy, Eric and the kids at Chef Mickey's for Ethan's birthday dinner.  The kids had been watching the monorail circle the parks for days and were dying to ride on it.  They were happy to hop on for the trip to the Contemporary Resort, home of Chef Mickey's!
All the kids with Minnie...love their shirts made by Aunt Pat!
Our girls with the head chef!
Me and Goofy!
Birthday boy blows out his candles!
Harrison and Pluto
The girls
The boys
Lee and I posing with Mickey!
Amy and I loved Chef Mickey too!
I was so thankful that Amy invited our family to join them for Ethan's 3rd birthday celebration.  So much fun!

We finished with dinner and then headed back to Magic Kingdom to see a few more things.

We found a great spot to watch the parade.

Tinkerbell flying out of the castle!
 fabulous fireworks

We packed in alot of fun today!

Disney - day 4

Today we went to Animal Kingdom.  I'd never been there before, so I didn't really know what to expect, but it's a big park and was lots of fun!

The Tree of Life
Lee, Anna Grace, Sarah and I started the day with a ride on Expedition Everest.  This one definitely gets your blood pumping!  Here are the survivors of this awesome roller coaster with Mt. Everest in the background.
We watched Nemo and The Lion King shows while we were there and they were both fabulous!  It was really cold the day we were at Animal Kingdom, so we were extra thankful that the shows were inside.

Pooh and his friends were all dressed up for Christmas!

Sarah and I, ready to ride the Triceratop Spin
Minnie was all dressed for Christmas too!
We finished our day at Animal Kingdom with an African Safari, which was really fun!  When we finished with that we had to run - seriously run! - across the park to the exit so we could make it back to EPCOT for our dinner reservations at the Coral Reef.

The food was fabulous!  We feasted on steaks and seafood (scallops were awesome!) and the kids loved finishing the meal with hot fudge sundaes!

We finished the evening with EPCOT's Candlelight Processional.  We just about froze to death, but the show was wonderful.  Trace Adkins was the celebrity narrator who told the Christmas story.  He has such a nice voice for storytelling!  The music was beautiful and the choir did an awesome job.  Got to hear a beautiful version of my favorite Christmas song, O Holy Night!
After the show we were headed to the exit and I heard someone calling my name.  It was Amy!  Eric and the boys were back at the hotel, but Amy and Hanna were spending some girl time together.   The kids were surprised to see Hanna.  We hadn't mentioned to them that they were in town or that we were having dinner with them tomorrow night.  We're good at keeping surprises these days!

More fun to come tomorrow!  :)
