{ Emma Taylor's Pedi Party }

This little chick-a-dee turned 11 this morning!  She's made the last 11 years so very much fun!

She was excited to start partying with her friends!  We planned a pedicure party at the nail salon in Saltillo.  Emma Taylor, Sarah, Lexie and Mia had a great time together.  Here they are selecting their polish.

 Getting the massage chair going.
Now she's all relaxed and ready to enjoy her pedicure!

When we finished up at the nail salon, we headed back to our house for birthday refreshments.  Emma Taylor didn't want birthday cake (she's not fond of the frosting) so she asked me to make the Heath Bar dessert, but in small serving bowls instead of a big trifle bowl.  The girls all seemed to love it!  She requested mint chocolate chip ice cream from Baskin Robbins too.

 We all sang and then she made her wish and blew out the candles.

 Anna Grace joined the girls for dessert, but wanted to stay hidden behind the streamers.  :)

 She even let the boys sneak in for a picture, but they had to eat their dessert in the kitchen.  Ha!

 Birthday girl opening her presents.

I loved this small, laid-back party and she did too!

And here's the "Transformation Tuesday" picture that I posted on Instagram for her birthday.  10 years makes a huge difference!
Love you so much, Emma Taylor!  I hope 11 is fantastic!

{ A's Pizza Party }

Harrison has had a really fun time playing for the A's this season!  Watching him play this year is completely different than last year.  He's a stronger batter and definitely pays more attention out in the field now that he's 8.

Last night, after their last game, he and his team mates received trophies and had a pizza party.

Such cool trophies!

The team had their picture on the front page of the local paper a few weeks ago.  Harrison thought it was pretty cool!

The season with the A's is over, but he's still playing on an All-Star team, so he has more ball to play through mid-July.  It way too hot, but he seems to love it!

{ Some Swimming }

Since Ben had storm damage last month, he's had a room at the Hampton Inn.  They have a nice, little  pool so mom and I took the kids to swim one day last week.  They had a ball!

You know they couldn't make it through the afternoon without snacks!

 They fueled up and got back to their original silliness!
 Sweet sisters!
 I love all these pictures of them jumping.  These four really have fun wherever they go!

Thanks to mom for taking all these great pics!

I have more posts to catch up on...vacations and happenings around here, etc.  I hope to get caught up this week.  Since I've been writing this post, the Rebels just won the elimination game in the CWS.  It's been a nail biter.  Woohoo!

{ 40th Birthday Bash - the rest of the story }

Friday we got up and headed down to the beach, which was fabulous.
Crazy sisters!

Luke loved hanging out in his pool on the beach.
We enjoyed the pool too.  Paige, Courtney, Amy and I are relaxing, while Morgan, Kaydee and Luke are cooling off in the pool.  I love this picture taken from the balcony.
This evening we took some pictures on the beach.  Karen and her girls all coordinated and everyone else seemed to match too.  I didn't get the memo.  :)

I love these pictures in our matching coverups (monogrammed Columbia fishing shirts).  Courtney decided to order one and then we all followed her lead.  We got tons of compliments and questions about the shirts.  They were really fun to wear!

Finally, time for dinner at Cosmos.  Courtney suggested this place and it was excellent!
More Miami Vices!

On Saturday, we spent the majority of the day on the beach, but snuck away for lunch at Sea 'n Suds.  I love that place for lunch, good and super casual!

The last night Paige picked the dinner place, so we could celebrate her birthday too.  She turned 25 on Monday after we got back.  Original Oyster house is one of my faves!
Birthday girls!
 Kaydee and I loved those crab legs.
Paige was a little embarrassed when they brought her cake.  :) We also shared some chocolate chip peanut butter pie, which is fantastic!

The next morning, it was time to head back to reality.  Mom and I took Amy back to the airport and stopped at Another Broken Egg for breakfast first.  It was delicious!  You know we had to work in one more good meal before heading out of town.  :)  Hated to say goodbye to this girl, but so glad she'll be moving to Montgomery in July.  So glad she'll be close to us for another year.
The weekend passed by really quickly, but it was wonderful to get away with these awesome girls!  We don't see each other as much as we'd like, but always have a super time when we get together.  Thanks to my mom for planning such a fabulous 40th birthday beach bash!
