Harrison's First Flip Flops

Harrison has been watching all of us wear flip flops for years, but hasn't had any of his own.  He decided he wanted some "boy fip fops" this year.  After his bath tonight, he wanted to put them back on AGAIN!

Watching him put on flip flops for the first time was quite entertaining.  He didn't really know what to think about the piece between his toe!  Watching him walk in the flops was funny too....he was moving his legs like a robot!  As adults, we've been wearing flip flops forever so they feel completely comfortable to us.  It was fun to see Harrison experience it for the first time!

The BIG puzzle

We all know how much Harrison loves puzzles, so you can imagine his excitement when he received this HUGE puzzle for Easter.
Emma Taylor even helped!
Posing with the finished project!
This puzzle is actually reversible, so it's double fun!

To: Granna From: Emma Taylor

Emma Taylor posed like this just for you, Granna, since she knows you love it!
The face she's making doesn't look exactly like it did when she had those sweet chubby cheeks and innocent little eyes, but this is her interpretation at almost 7 years old.  Emma Taylor's grown and changed alot the past few years, but one thing definitely hasn't changed....she still loves her Granna!

Smash Car

All our girls have been busy playing video games for quite awhile...between their Wii and DSis they have plenty of games to keep themselves busy.  Harrison hasn't shown much interest until recently when Lee bought Smash Car for him and now he's hooked!

Here he is on the first day of play getting some instruction from Lee.
Here he is on Day 2 playing all by himself.  Doesn't he look serious?

For Harrison, what could be better than a video game that allows him to drive monster trucks!?  He loves it!

Happy Easter!

Hope everyone's had a wonderful Easter.  We enjoyed a beautiful day in Fulton at Aunt Fay's....lots of good food, family and eggs full of treats!  Emma Taylor and Harrison weren't with us this year, but Anna Grace, Sarah and Makenzie had a great time hunting Easter eggs.
Brantley...not so much!  This is all the action we saw out of him and then he was off to take a nap!

I love this picture of the girls with Aunt Fay!
The little two finally made it home Easter evening...we missed you!
