{ One Direction Concert }

All three of our girls LOVE One Direction!  I thought the phase might pass quickly, but they've been fans for years and already missed one concert tour.  We couldn't let them miss it this year, so we scheduled a trip to see them in Nashville last night.  They played at LP Field, where the Tennessee Titans play football, so it was a huge venue!

Sarah and Emma Taylor went to the concert with me (while Lee met a friend for dinner, lucky duck!) and Anna Grace went with her mom and got to invite a friend.  Everyone was happy!

The high school girls, Anna Grace and Macey, on their way to the concert. :)
The little girls and I stopped for 1D t-shirts on our way into the stadium.

This one is my favorite!

We were WAY up high, but the girls didn't seem to mind. They danced and sang all night!

What a fun and crazy night for these girls!  Making memories.  :)

{ Back to School Dance }

Our big middle schoolers had their first ever dance tonight!  Emma Taylor and Mia rode together from here and met Lexie and Sarah at her house so they could all take pictures together.

Emma Taylor and Mia are ready to meet the rest of the girls.
Sparkly toes

Sisters

Friends!

I snapped a picture of Sarah and Daddy too!

The girls really had a fun time together at the dance.  It was definitely a new experience for them and I'm so glad they enjoyed it.  Middle School really seems to be agreeing with our girls!

{ Back to Class! }

I can't believe it, but the kids started school today.  It's even harder to believe that we have a 3rd grader, two middle schoolers and a high schooler!  Yes, high school!  Everyone started a new school, but came home happy, so that's such a relief!

These two got up and ready without any problems this morning.  I was afraid they'd be super tired, but the day started off well.

 Goofballs!
Here are the annual backpack shots, too.  :)

Since Emma Taylor was headed to the middle school, and it isn't cool to have your parents walk you to class, she wanted to go with a friend.  We met her friend, Mia and her sweet momma, in town and she rode with her.  Love the smiles!
Harrison let me walk him to class, but said a picture with his teachers would be way too embarrassing.  I was able to snap these when we got on campus.

Anna Grace and Sarah were at their mom's house this morning, but they sent me some darling pictures.  First up, is Sarah all ready for her first day of middle school.
Anna Grace wanted to go to her first day of high school with a friend, too.  Here she is with her sweet friend, Lilli.  They look great for their first day of high school.
Everyone came home with lots of fun stories to tell and most importantly, everyone came home happy about school.  :)

{ Hot Diggety Dog, Luke is ONE! }

We headed over to Florence this morning for Luke's 1st birthday party.  He was precious and it was a lot of fun to see everyone.  Amy's family just moved back to Montgomery a few days ago, so they were able to make it too!

 We were finally able to meet Claire!  Such a precious baby girl!
These two were thrilled to see each other again!
 Luke and Claire were checking each other out.  Darling babies!

 Here's the birthday boy all ready for pictures!

This is the best picture I could get of Luke with Kaydee and Justin.  The lighting in the dining room just didn't cooperate!
I wish I'd taken more pictures of everyone, but I was too busy visiting.  We all had such a fun time! Kaydee and Karen did a fabulous job with Luke's sweet Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party!

{ Splashing with the neighbors! }

We can't seem to get enough of the water slide these days!  Belle invited us to head back to New Albany with her boys this afternoon for some more water fun.

 Harrison and Quinn hit the slide right away.

Landon loved playing in all the spray.
Emma Taylor finally had enough of the sliding and decided to work on her tan.  :)

 and then topped it off with a snow cone!
What a fun afternoon with friends.  I sure wish the summer would last longer!
