Family Vacation in the Smokies

Lee, the kids and I are leaving tomorrow for our first family vacation. We're headed to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and the kids are so excited they can hardly stand it! I bet Anna Grace won't sleep a wink tonight, which could be a good thing....kids sleeping in the car on the way sounds good to me! We're well equipped though...new car with room for everybody, plenty of DVDs and ipods full of music. We have lots of fun planned and are looking forward to spending a great week together. I'll post pictures soon. Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great day for 4th of July festivities in Tupelo! We all went over to Lee's Aunt Bonnie and Harold's house for lunch. Lee's whole family was there and this year they invited my family too, so Mom, Dad, Ben and Cameron joined us! We ate all kinds of good stuff...most importantly the yummy ice cream! The kids had a wonderful time playing in the hot tub, which is filled with cool water in the summer!

Party Pics...finally!

Emma Taylor had her 6th birthday party at GO Creative Athletics last Saturday. She and her friends had a really fun time!

Sweet Smile

Harrison had his new tooth installed on Thursday, so he has his sweet smile back to normal! We stopped by Granna's office after his appointment, so here he is posing with her. He looks pretty pleased with his new tooth! Wheew....so glad that's done!

They still have "The Right Stuff!"

Heather and I went to see New Kids on the Block last night and had the best time! We saw them together when we were 15 (well actually we saw them on Heather's 16th birthday...isn't that awesome?!) and loved seeing them just as much 20 years later!

Here we are in our cool NKOTB t-shirts! It was a little too hot to keep these shirts on over our regular clothes, but we HAD to get a picture!

The guys entertained like crazy and looked as good as ever!

Jesse McCartney was the opening act. The girls will be jealous that I saw Jesse...he was great too!
Fun times with my fabulous friend, Heather!
