{ Fun at the Spray Park }

Granna and I took the kids to the Spray Park in New Albany this afternoon.  We'd heard good things about it, but hadn't ever been over there before.  I don't know what took us so long.  The kids LOVED it!

There were all sorts of sprayers and splashers all over the place, but the kids pretty much spent the entire time going down the slide, hopping out of the water and heading up the steps again.
 Harrison and Cameron had a ball.
 Emma Taylor and Lexie did too.   They were so lucky to have a gorgeous day to play!

If you haven't been over to the Spray Park, you should take your kids soon!  It's tons of fun and just $4 per child.  Wish we'd checked out this little gem a long time ago!

{ Baseball Pics }

Here are Harrison's baseball pictures for this year.

Here is is with his Park & Rec Team, the Papa John's A's.

This is this All-Star Team, the Saltillo Tigers.

We could sure use some better photographers, goodness!  Oh well, the memory of the fun days of baseball have been captured.  :)

{ Tubing! }

We met our friends up at Pickwick on Sunday afternoon for a little fun on the water.  Harrison went to spend the night with Quinn at the cabin on Saturday night, so we met him there.

The kids think it's awesome that they get to ride in the back of the pickup truck down to the boat dock.

Anna Grace was in more of a relaxing mode (like me!), but the rest of kids were dying to get on the tube!  We've been to the lake a few times this summer, but they hadn't had a chance to tube until now.

When will Harrison outgrow the goofy face?!
Here we are pulling out of the cove, going pretty slow.
And now the fun part, going fast!
I love Sarah's face in this one!
Before we went home, the girls wanted to jump off the rocks, so here they are in action.

Sarah got a bit of a running start from the tall part of the rocks! Woohoo!
And here's Emma Taylor.  I caught her just as she hit the water.  Harrison and Quinn (blue and green life jackets) are down in the water for moral support!
It's hard to read in this picture, but someone painted "Summer 2014" in bright pink paint on the side of the rock.  Cute graffiti!  We SO enjoyed our day at the lake with our sweet friends!

{ Saltillo All-Stars }

Harrison and his team, the Saltillo All-Stars, played in the Dizzy Dean state tournament this week.  He had fun and played really well.

Here he is before we headed to West Point for the tournament on Friday afternoon.  Lee and I went Thursday night and Mom came with me on Friday and took pictures.  :)

The boys played at 1:30pm and 4:30pm, so it was HOT outside!  The players didn't even seem to notice, but we sure did.  :)

During the tournament Harrison spent some time in the outfield and some time at pitcher (it's coach pitch, but he gets to play the defensive part of pitcher).  He hit a home run in the last game too.  He was super proud of himself!

Up to bat.

This was the final game.
 I love watching him run home with that look of concentration on his face.

Sadly, their team was eliminated on the second day of the tournament.  Those boys played their little hearts out.  The team received medals, but at this point they were still a little disappointed.

So proud of #16 and all of the Saltillo Tigers!

{ Post 4th of July Celebration! }

We had a great Independence Day celebration last night at Samantha's house.  The weather cooperated, so we were able to visit outside while the kids played in the water and jumped on the trampoline.  Fun!

 The homemade slip 'n slide was a hit!

 They had fun in the baby pool with Cora Beth too!
 Looks like Cora Beth is holding a meeting or teaching school!

 Harrison and Brantley...the only boys!
 We also celebrated Bonnie's birthday.

Memaw will do anything her grand babies want her to do!  Cora Beth loved jumping with her.  :)
We loved spending the day celebrating with family!
