{ Happy Birthday, Knoxie! }

Knox turned 3 on the 17th, so the girls put together a little party for him.

We all signed his birthday hat, which he would NOT wear.  :)

 They decorated...

Here's the sweet Birthday Boy!
He's enjoying a bowl of treats...I think it was rotisserie chicken and almonds.  Almonds are his absolute favorite!

I think he had a fun 3rd (or 21st!) birthday.

Today is also Ben's birthday, but he is much older!  Ha!  Happy 38th to Ben!

{ recent phone pics }

Harrison is learning about bones.  Hahaha!
 Emma Taylor's Halloween artwork.
Sarah's artwork
 Emma Taylor repeating Kaydee..."Bonanza has good food!"
 All the girls love updating the kitchen artwork.
 Working on her Christmas list.
 The girls hijacked my phone and took some selfies.

 Sister love.
 He's already made the "good list!"
 She's already stolen my new blanket!

{ Baby Rock }

Emma Taylor's science/health class had to take care of a "rock baby" for three days recently.  They had to keep up with it at school and journal about what the baby was up to for those few days.

This is Bella Jane.
The kids had to come up with some sort of bed for the rocks to sleep in at school.
Here's Emma Taylor's.  She even had a monogrammed blanket.  A true southern girl!

Anna Grace's 6th grade class had to do this assignment years ago, but they had to keep up with a bag of flour.  The rock was much easier and Emma Taylor thought it was fun.  :)

{ His Halloween Faves }

Harrison wrote a journal entry at school explaining what he likes best about Halloween.  He makes me laugh!

He also created this pumpkin with oil pastels in art class.  It was for sale at the fall festival last week and I couldn't pass it up!

Harrison also insisted that we bid on his class project in the silent auction.  We were the lucky bidders and came home with this cool lazy susan.  Harrison is thrilled!  :)

Happy Fall!

{ Trick-or-Treat! }

The kids had a ball trick-or-treating again this year.  We had a great dinner and then headed out for the candy.  Halloween falling on a Friday night was SO nice!  We were able to stay up a little later and make S'mores by the fire since we didn't have to get up early in the morning.  FUN!

These three were the first to arrive.
 Sarah joined us soon after dinner.
 Lyla joined us too.  She is such a cute Elsa!
 Here's the whole crew on the hayride.
Sarah, Josie, Harrison, Cameron (look closely!), Lyla and Emma Taylor
 Mom took these pictures as we drove back to the house.  The hayride is so much fun!
 The kids headed back inside to check out their loot!

 Next we headed outside to roast marshmallows and make s'mores.  YUM!
 Harrison doesn't like the s'mores, just the marshmallows.
 Emma Taylor warmed up with some hot chocolate.  It was cold last night!

Such a fun night with friends and family!
