{ Old Baker Farms Pumpkin Patch }

Mom and I took the kids to Birmingham on Saturday to meet Amy and her kids for a trip to the pumpkin patch.  My friend, Holly, suggested Old Baker Farms, in Harpersville, and I'm so glad she did.  It was wonderful!

The kids had a ball with the corn maze, jumping in freshly picked cotton and riding horses!

 They fed the animals and picked cotton too.
 The kids loved the cool hand washing station.
 I think picking cotton was one of their favorite parts.
 Big ole basket of cotton!
 Next we headed down to climb on the hay bales.

They even liked riding the kiddie train.

The last activity was a hay ride out to the actual pumpkin patch.  Everyone picked out pumpkins and then the farm volunteers transported them to the exit gate and put them in our car when we left.  Such great service.  It's never fun lugging pumpkins all the way to the car!

 Before we headed out for dinner we stopped to take some family pictures.

In addition to all the fun at the pumpkin patch, we had a HUGE day in Mississippi football.  State beat Texas A&M and Ole Miss beat Alabama!  After those big wins, both our teams shared the #3 ranking in the poll this week.  It's such a fun time to be Bulldogs and Rebels! :)

{ Red Carpet Dance }

The girls had a semi-formal dance at school tonight and were pretty excited about it!  They loved being all fancy.  Anna Grace curled their hair and I just love how it looks.  Such a sweet big sister!

 Fancy feet

There they go!
This is the best picture we could get since it would be totally
embarrassing for us to get out and snap pics.  Ha!
They looked precious and had lots of fun dancing with their friends on the red carpet!

{ Jr. Beta Club }

Sarah and Emma Taylor were inducted into the Jr. Beta Club at school today.  I'm so proud of their academic achievements.  They've really worked hard to maintain an A average!

 Emma Taylor receiving her certificate.
 They couldn't find Sarah's, so she will get hers later today.
 With their friend Lexie.
 Proud of my girls!

They are pretty proud of themselves.  Good job, girls!

{ One Direction Concert }

All three of our girls LOVE One Direction!  I thought the phase might pass quickly, but they've been fans for years and already missed one concert tour.  We couldn't let them miss it this year, so we scheduled a trip to see them in Nashville last night.  They played at LP Field, where the Tennessee Titans play football, so it was a huge venue!

Sarah and Emma Taylor went to the concert with me (while Lee met a friend for dinner, lucky duck!) and Anna Grace went with her mom and got to invite a friend.  Everyone was happy!

The high school girls, Anna Grace and Macey, on their way to the concert. :)
The little girls and I stopped for 1D t-shirts on our way into the stadium.

This one is my favorite!

We were WAY up high, but the girls didn't seem to mind. They danced and sang all night!

What a fun and crazy night for these girls!  Making memories.  :)

{ Back to School Dance }

Our big middle schoolers had their first ever dance tonight!  Emma Taylor and Mia rode together from here and met Lexie and Sarah at her house so they could all take pictures together.

Emma Taylor and Mia are ready to meet the rest of the girls.

Friends!

I snapped a picture of Sarah and Daddy too!

The girls really had a fun time together at the dance.  It was definitely a new experience for them and I'm so glad they enjoyed it.  Middle School really seems to be agreeing with our girls!
