{ birthday stuff }

Harrison wanted to bring cookies to school and celebrate his 6th birthday with his friends.  He decided he wanted car cookies, of course.  These cookies were cute and really good!

Harrison's class ate their snack in the hallway....all the kids lined up against the wall!  His birthday was the 100th day of school, so the kids also enjoyed a 100 piece snack which included popcorn, goldfish, animal crackers, M&Ms, etc. They visited classrooms all over the kindergarten hallway and did special 100th day of school activities.  What a fun day for a birthday!
Granna came for the birthday celebration too, so she took this picture of me with my boy!
Such a big boy...birthday crown and all!
You can really see Harrison's "shiner" in this picture.  He and Emma Taylor bumped heads while jumping on a trampoline over the weekend.  Apparently Emma Taylor's pretty hard headed, because she left him with a bit of a black eye!

After school we headed to Oxford to have dinner and go to the MSU/Ole Miss basketball game.  Our friend had tickets he wasn't using, so we were fortunate enough to get to go.  Before the game we stopped off at Oby's for a birthday sundae.....YUM!  These two couldn't finish the sundae, not even with help from me and Lee!

The kids loved the game!  Since it was a big game - State and Ole Miss - there was an Ole Miss Basketball shirt on the back of every chair.  The kids loved wearing these big shirts over their clothes, even though they weren't maroon.  :)
Emma Taylor loved the music and danced most of the night.

The kids were up WAY past their bed time, but really had a ball.  We put PJs on in the car the both kids were asleep before we even made it off campus.  Such a fun way to spend Harrison's Birthday!
